U.S. is very prone to this type of populism and sentimentality. But, admittedly, It Gets Better project, which forms part of the Trevor Project, is a fucking example. And it is that if many of us would have seen in some (hard) times of our lives, would have meant a lot. A project to raise the voice to let the world know that bullying is wrong, is not acceptable, which is a necessary step on the pass in your teens or children.
And again, I think populist and all that, but when watching videos like this, the wonderful Adam Lambert (or Glambert \u0026lt;333), with such force and such realism, you really feel like I can go out there and shout from the rooftops who I am and I give a shit what any sovereign else thinks. Because yes, when you get to be good how Adam describes it all starts to go much better. It Gets Better.
He says you will continue to suffer bullying the rest of your life, one way or another, from some people or other. Including himself, which is having an incredible success, which is making a tour awesome Who is serving his dream! Still receives words, treatment, cruel acts. And pronounce these words without any fear, " fagot, girly, ugly, gross, nasty, all this crap " (queer, effeminate, ugly, nasty, disgusting, all that crap).
But your personal choices should not be reason for anyone ever despise you. And if you fail to do so, they know that affects you, I've been won. Among all this, your sexual orientation is something that must import a shit everyone. It's something that does not define you as a person. And who creates que lo hace, no merece un solo minuto de tu atención.

Now in English :)
The It Gets Better project, which is part of the Trevor Project, is a fucking example. And it's something that if some of us had heard of in certain (tough) moments of our lives, it would have meant a lot. A project to rise the voice, to let the world know that bullying is.not.okay., is.not.acceptable, is not an obliged path you have to go through during your teenage years or your childhood.
When I see videos like this, by the wonderful Adam Lambert (or Glambert <333), made with so much realism and strength, I really feel like I can go anywhere and shout it out loud, shout who I am, shout that I don't give a shit about other people's opinion. Because yes, when you get to be in that state Adam describes, it all starts to get better.
He says it: you're still going to be bullied the rest of your life, one way or another, by one person or another. Even he himself, who is now absolutely successful and is living his dream, still gets bad words. Words he's not afraid to pronounce, just like: " faggot, girly, ugly, gross, nasty, all this crap ".
You have to know one thing: your personal options aren't reason enough to be rejected. And if you let them do it, if you let them know that can affect you, you're letting them win. And you also have to know one more totally important thing: your sexual orientation is just yours, anybody has to say a bloody word about it. That doesn't define you as a person, as a human being. And if someone believes it does, then he/she doesn't deserve a fucking minute of your attention.
Also, I love you, karofsky_hummel . YOU'RE THE BEST COMM EVER.
